Parking is a rare commodity in Key West. Most places in Old Town have no parking, limited paid expensive parking, or expect you to walk a long distance from your assigned spot to your unit. If your driving to Key West or plan on renting a golf cart of scooter make sure you know how and where you will park. If you hear “There is lots of free or paid parking nearby” that is code for your on your own to find a spot. Then if you rent a golf cart or scooter where does that go?? Do you really want to circle the block, round and round, looking for a space to parrallel park everytime you go out? If you order delivery where is the delivery guy going to park and find you? Many vacation rentals in KW are around back, or upstairs, or down long walk ways from the parking area making deliveries, moving your own luggage to the unit, or just getting in and out a big hassle.
